India's longest bridge Dhola-Sadia Bridge in assam inaugurated by our PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the country’s longest bridge - the Dhola-Sadia Bridge in Assam today. Mr Modi named the bridge after legendary singer Bhupen Hazarika. This three lane, 9.15 kilometre bridge has been built over the Brahmaputra river. It links Dhola to Sadia, both in Assam.

The Continent of Africa observes and celebrates in a special way the 25 May. The day is known as “Africa Day.”Africa Day is promoted by the African Union (AU). This year 2017, the African Union highlights the theme: ‘Harnessing the demographic dividend through investments in youth.’Africa Day was formerly known as Africa Freedom Day.

The African Union (AU) is a continental union consisting of all 55 countries on the African continent. It was established on 26 May 2001 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and launched on 9 July 2002 in South Africa, with the aim of replacing the Organization of African Unity (OAU).
